Type G Cable Applications:

Type G cables are suitable for use in industrial and light- to medium-duty mining applications, heavy-duty service as power supply cable, power cable for mobile and portable electrical equipment at a continuous conductor temperature of 90°C.

Type G Cable Compliances:

- Rated 2000 volts, 90°C dry locations, 75°C wet locations

- Temperature -40°C to 90°C

- UL and c(UL) Listed

- MSHA approved

- Meets FT-5 Flame Test and UL 1650

Type G Cable Construction:

Type G portable power cables are manufactured with rope-lay stranded, bunched members, annealed copper conductors which are insulated with a premium-grade EPDM. The insulated conductors are assembled round with non-wicking fillers and jacket reinforcements as needed. The cable is covered with a black CPE rubber jacket that has indented printing for easy identification.
