Aluminum Duplex Overhead Service Drop Cable Application
This duplexed cable is suited for use as drop cable from a pole mounted transformer to the service entrance of a structure, or as secondary distribution between poles. The cable should be limited to 600V phase to phase and not exceed 90˚C.
Aluminum Duplex Overhead Service Drop Cable Features
• Conductor
Compressed 1350-H19 series are lightweight and flexible hence easy to install and move around.
• Insulation
The thermoplastic XLPE is non-conducting hence keeping the user safe from electric shocks. It ensures that the live conductors do not get into contacts with the messenger wire, as well as offering chemical and mechanical protection.
• Messenger Wire
They are designed with an operational temperature of up to 90 degrees and a voltage rating at 600 volts.
