What is FTS29OM16 Cable?

FTS29OM16-100/100V no burn no smoke cables for fire alarm detection and signaling systems, fire resistant, fire retardant, screened multicore, insulated with cross-linked S29 compound, under M16 thermoplastic sheath, with flexible conductors for fixed installation. Flame retardant and low development of toxic and corrosive fumes and gases.

The Application of FTS29OM16 Cable

FTS29OM16 cable suitable for bundle installations in environments at higher risk in case of fire due to high crowding density, high displacement time or high damage to animals and things such as air terminals, railway stations, harbour stations, subways, road and rail tunnels, having fire reaction class B2cas1a,d1,a1 in compliance with the CEI 64-8/7 installation in railway tunnels, complying with the UE Regulation 1303/2014, refer to the requirements given by the regulation it self.

FTS29OM16 cable suitable for indoor or outdoor, even wet, environments, for fixed installation in laying air, in pipes, hanging ducts or ducts on masonry and metal structures; buried installation allowed.

The IEMMEQU certified, “noBurn” cables are marked CEI 20-45 (PH 120/ F120) to indicate that they are fire-resistant in accordance with CEI EN 50200 and CEI EN 50362 standards, providing for a minimum operating time of 120 minutes at 820°C of the tested cable, subject to direct fire and mechanical shock
