What is FTE29OHM16 Cable?
FTE29OHM16 cables for fire alarm detection and signaling systems, fire resistant, fire retardant, screened multicore, insulated with cross-linked E29 compound, under M16 thermoplastic sheath, with flexible conductors for fixed installation. Flame retardant and low development of toxic and corrosive fumes and gases.
The Application Of FTE29OHM16 Cable
FTE29OHM16 cable can be used to connect the equipment of fixed automatic detection and manual fire alarm systems, whether or not connected to extinguishing systems or other protection systems (both active and passive), intended for installation in buildings, regardless of the intended use.
FTE29OHM16 cables are suitable for fixed protected installation in surface-mounted or recessed ducts or similar closed systems. They are suitable for laying in the same duct with circuits of electrical systems with rated voltage to earth up to 400V, typically 230/400 V power systems. This characteristic is guaranteed by the marking on the cable U0 = 400 V.
FTE29OHM16 cables are not suitable for other uses such as emergency lighting, power supply of forced smoke and heat evacuation systems, electric locks or emergency controls or other similar applications with operating voltage higher than 100 V AC for which cables complying with the CEI 20-45 Standard must be used.
