What is FG29OM16 Cable?
FG29OM16-100/100V Cables for applications in fixed automatic fire alarm detection systems, fire resistant, fire retardant, halogen-free. FG29OM16 Cable can be used to connecting the devices of automatic fixed systems of detection and manual fire alarm systems, connected or not to extinguishing systems or to another protection system (both active and passive type), intended to be installed in buildings, regardless of the intended use. They are not suitable for other uses such as emergency lighting, power supply of forced smoke and heat evacuation systems, electric lock or emergency controls or other similar applications with operating voltage greater than 100 V AC
The Application of FG29OM16 Cable:
FG29OM16 Cable can be used to connect the equipment of fixed automatic detection and manual fire alarm systems, whether or not connected to extinguishing systems or other protection systems (both active and passive), intended for installation in buildings, regardless of the intended use. They are suitable for fixed protected installation in surface-mounted or recessed ducts or similar closed systems.
FG29OM16 Cable are suitable for laying in the same duct with circuits of electrical systems with rated voltage to earth up to 400V, typically 230/400 V power systems. This characteristic is guaranteed by the marking on the cable U0 = 400 V. They are not suitable for other uses such as emergency lighting, power supply of forced smoke and heat evacuation systems, electric locks or emergency controls or other similar applications with operating voltage higher than 100 V AC for which cables complying with the CEI 20-45 Standard must be used.
